HALF-PRICE COACHING
THYROID AWARENESS MONTH!
January 2022

  • Do you have a nagging sense that there are things you could and should be doing, taking, eating, asking for, and doctors who might actually have the answers, but you have no idea how to find out more about it, or who to talk to?

  • Are you confused by the alphabet soup of tests -- TSH, FT3, Free T4, Reverse T3, TSI, TPOAb, etc. -- and need to understand what it all means?

  • Are there important things in your life that you'd like to be doing, if only you had the energy

  • Are you too exhausted to exercise, and too brain-fogged to research your condition?

  • Have you put on weight, and now you feel discouraged about efforts to get it off?

  • Are you feeling hopeless about infertility or recurrent miscarriage, and wonder how thyroid and hormonal balances may have something to do with it?

  • Are you struggling to revive a flagging sex drive

  • Do you feel tired...and yet wired

  • Are doctors telling you "you're just depressed" and trying to give you an antidepressant?

  • Do you need a knowledgeable and compassionate new doctor who actually "gets" how to diagnose and treat your hormonal health issues, and doesn't dismiss your complaints?

  • Do you have a hunch that there might be a medication, herb, supplement, or way of eating that you haven't heard about that could be helping you...but you don't know what it is?

If you answered "YES" to any of these questions, then a Hormonal Health Coaching session is exactly what you need to live and feel well! Coaching is an ongoing, action-oriented session designed to help transform your health, and provide you with the information and tools you need to truly feel and live well

What Goes On in a Coaching Session?

Whether you need to consider additional tests or other diagnoses, find a new health care provider, explore supplements and alternatives that may make sense for your health, or learn how to ask for the care you need, my mission is to help equip you with the information, knowledge, and confidence you need to take the important next steps to feeling and living well in 2022.

A Coaching Session typically includes:

  • An assessment of your hormonal health symptoms and questions

  • Review and explanations of test results

  • Exploration of new information, treatment options, practitioners, and approaches

  • An opportunity to share your successes and frustrations, brainstorm solutions, and decide on next steps

  • Preparation for doctor's visits, including an agenda and questions lists

  • Support to find a new doctor if necessary, and guidance on effective communication with your health care provider

  • Every coaching session also includes a followup "Coaching Summary/Action Plan" that summarizes recommendations and action items, sent by email after your session

TESTIMONIALS FROM COACHING CLIENTS

Mary Shomon's call was very informative and gave me lots of comfort being pregnant and dealing with thyroid issues especially when most doctors out there don't consider this to be a big deal. I feel more empowered to express my wishes to the doctors at the beginning of a consult so we have a clear understanding of where I want to be plus letting them know in the nicest possible way that I have spent years researching my condition so I do have some knowledge as to what is going on with my body now. Mary is very easy to talk to and understands what it feels like going through this. The only thing that would it better if Mary lived next door to me. Haha! Thanks so much!! - Kelly L.
